37 year-old rapper Missy Elliott who is working on her 7th studio album and on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew is daunted by the thought of childbirth. She says she would like children but would opt to adopt:

I most definitely want kids, but I’ll probably adopt kids. I don’t know if I can take that kind of pain (of labour). Maybe in the year 2020 you could just pop a baby out and it’d be fine. But right now I’d rather just adopt.

Hmmm. Fear of labor pains? Or fear of a man knocking her up?

In order to promote her new shoe line Pastry, Angela Simmons recorded a song Center of Attention. We must say we were less than pleased with her vocal and rhyming abilities but the video is slamming! She is cute and funny and the ending is classic!

We are feeling Ne-Yo’s new cover but why is his head lowered? That is not very album cover-ish. But we are loving the suit and the overall look. The album hits stores in September.

Via her Myspace Michelle Williams vented to fans about the current situation of her album and why it is being pushed back:

I am so sorry about the news of my album!!! Trust me……when they told me I was numb for two days and couldn’t talk to anybody!!! I had sooooooooooooo many questions of as to why they’d push my album back three weeks before the original release date!!!! I will be honest and say that I am disappointed becuz I feel like we should’ve been doing more 3 months ago to promote my album instead of waiting to the last minute to change the date!!!! I have thought about EVERYTHING!!! Columbia Records is saying that they need more time to properly set up the album to ensure its success!!! So let’s make some lemonade out of the lemons!!! This could very well be a blessing in disguise!!! Plus there are still many people who didn’t even know my album was coming out August 12th anyway. I know you guys are LIVID but let’s keep the energy POSITIVE!!!! Things will work out for the good!!!! I will still WIN!!!!!

Maybe Ne-Yo can help Nicole release some music. Her first attempt at a solo project failed when her record label scrapped the entire thing…

Jennifer Hudson was spotted all over Midtown in New York on Wednesday. She was at MTV & BET studios, most likely doing interview and recording appearances on TRL & 106th. Gotta promote that album! What are your thoughts on the interesting garb she is wearing though?
