Phylicia Rashad, Anika Noni Rose, Terrence Howard & James Earl Jones (not pictured) star in the revival production of Tennessee Williams classic Hot Cat on a Tin Roof.

With such a well rounded, experienced and respected cast Anika probably had the most to prove. Acting against power house and legend James Earl Jones. Tony award winning Phylicia Rashad and Oscar nominee Terrence Howard.

Here’s what the New York Times had to say about Nika’s performance:

Ms. Rose more than holds her own. She pretty much runs the show whenever she’s onstage, and when she’s not, the show misses her management.

That’s great to hear! Broadway reviewers can be cut throat and if the Times thinks your good then you must be doing something right!

Here is Diddy looking dapper in his white tuxedo jacket at the premiere of comic book classic Iron Man. We are not big fans of black shirts but Diddy is pulling it off.

Starring in the flick were also Terrence Howard and Gwyneth Paltrow who were caught getting a little cozy.

Brandon T. Jackson was also in attendance. Remember? He’s the kid from Roll Bounce

Nice to see that Terrence is a family man. Taking his kids to the movies. A movie screening that is!

Is it us or does Terrence Howard need a stylist assistance ASAP?!

Don’t get us wrong, we love his acting chops put his fashion and sometimes role choices are questionable at best.

Which brings us to our next point, his new film, Iron Man. Come on Terence comic book flicks are so 2004. If its not X-Men who cares! We want to see you in more roles like the guitar playing groomsmen in The Best Man or the sell-out producer in Crash.

Now that was quality cinema!

Terrence Howard is releasing an album in September. Well the singers are crossing over to acting, why cant the actors do the same?

it’s titled, Terrence Howard – Me and the Band of Kings and is said to be reminiscent of the big band, jazzy age. He played the album in New York for a room full of journalist. What was the verdict?

Well ones things for sure. He has that Cab Callaway look on lock. And he has showed his musical talents in the past. Remember him playing the guitar in The Best Man? And what about him rapping in Hustle and Flow.

And he is on Broadway…. OK Terrence, we’ll give it a listen.
