Naomi Campbell wore this Azzedine Alaïa gown to Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday Party in June. Meanwhile fellow model Stephanie Seymour wore it first to the Costume Institute Gala in May.

While in Africa for the music festival, models Naomi Campbell & Tyson Beckford decided to to do some philanthropy work. They visited Lagos Island Maternity Hospital in Nigeria. It is good to see these two together. Hopefully Naomi will inspire Tyson to make a comeback to his once thriving modeling career.

Aside from her modeling career Naomi Campbell is know for two things: her anger issues and her repeated run ins with the law. Naomi is finally speaking on her April 3rd incident at a London Heathrow Airport.

I was called a racial name on that flight… I was called a Golliwog supermodel…

When asked who called her a golliwog ([pictured below), which is a black rag doll inspired by black face minstrel Naomi responded

Someone on the flight, not the passenger.

Naomi has been globally banned from British Airways and they are standing ground that Naomi’s rage was just a reaction from her luggage being delivered late. But if she was called a golliwog was she justified in her actions of rage or she just pulling the race card to get a get out of jail free card.

In more pleasant news, Naomi was in Milan, Italy for Dolce & Gabbana’s Menswear Spring/Summer fashion show as shown above.
