58 year old Grammy award winning singer Natalie Colewho has been known to speak publicly about her drug abuse struggle in the past and to reach out to others who are dealing with similar issues, has been diagnosed with Hepatitis C. She discovered this on a routine visit to her doctor. Cole has been suffering from some side effects such as fatigue, muscle aches, and dehydration but all in all she is responding well to the treatment.
Cole says of the experience:
I’ve been so fortunate to have learned so much from my past experiences, I am embraced by the love and support of my family and friends; I am committed to my belief in myself and in my abiding faith to meet this challenge with a heartfelt optimism and determination. This is how I intend to deal with this current challenge in my life
Her latest album, Still Unforgettable is set to release September 9th.

While in Africa for the music festival, models Naomi Campbell & Tyson Beckford decided to to do some philanthropy work. They visited Lagos Island Maternity Hospital in Nigeria. It is good to see these two together. Hopefully Naomi will inspire Tyson to make a comeback to his once thriving modeling career.
