Beyonce poses in Armani for the new edition of Fashion Rocks which will be sold as a supplement in Vogue, GQ, Allure, and Vanity Fair mags. It’s hard not to like a black a white classic shot, isn’t it? Ms. KnowlesCarter will be performing at the Fashion Rocks Awards September 5th.

In order to promote her new shoe line Pastry, Angela Simmons recorded a song Center of Attention. We must say we were less than pleased with her vocal and rhyming abilities but the video is slamming! She is cute and funny and the ending is classic!

Chris “Ludacris” Bridges cleaned up nicely for The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) in Beverly Hills yesterday. The organization is responsible for dispersing news about Hollywood to the rest of the world. They also are the creators and organizers of the Golden Globe Awards. Rosario Dawson & Rosie Perez were also in attendance.

Coming to theaters in August, The Longshots is an inspring film of a lonely teenage girl, Keke Palmer who becomes the first and only girl quaterback to play football in Pop Warner history. It looks like a nice family film. It is good to see Ice Cube doing his thing with the kid friendly flicks. The trailer is below for her viewing pleasure.

Finaly Disney has a film with a Black hero/heroine. How long did it take? Hopefully it will an accurate portrayal and not dissapoint.
We must say we are not too thrilled about the choice of Alicia Keys along with Jack White (White Stripes)singing the Quantum of Solace, James Bond theme song. For starters it is going to be a duet the first in Bond history. Secondly, we never imagined A Keys could pull off the record. Honestly we thought it would be between Amy Winehouse & Beyonce. And we were leaning towards Amy, but we are not going to bust Alicia’s chops, she may prove us wrong.
We are feeling Ne-Yo’s new cover but why is his head lowered? That is not very album cover-ish. But we are loving the suit and the overall look. The album hits stores in September.
Actress Jurnee Smollettmade an appearance at the premiere of well anticipated film Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. Jurnee has been making small appearances here and there but we are wondering what her next project will be…
